Step 1: Saw the Wooden Balls
Flatten the base of the larger wooden balls
- Secure the largest wooden balls (7 cm) to your workbench using screw clamps.
- Use a NanoBlade saw to flatten one side of each ball to create a stable base for the candle holders.
- Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from sawdust.
Step 2: Sand the Surfaces

- Use a multi-sander to sand down the sawn surfaces of the wooden balls.
- Ensure all surfaces are smooth to the touch for a polished look.
- Wear protective goggles to avoid sanding dust.
Step 3: Drill Holes for Candles
Prepare the wooden balls for candle holders
- Use a bench drill or cordless combi drill to create holes in the flattened wooden balls.
- Drill slightly deeper than the length of the candle holders to ensure stability.
- Secure the balls firmly and drill with precision.
Step 4: Add Color
Paint the wooden balls for a festive touch
- Use a paintbrush to coat the wooden balls in your desired color.
- Allow the paint to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
