- Laser measure
- Zamo tape adapter
- Bosch Atino line level
- Jigsaw with T 101 B blade
- Cordless combi drill
- Brad point drill bits
- Concrete drill bit
- Metal drill bits (HSS-R set)
Materials
- 1 wooden shelf side section (130 x 30 cm)
- 4 spacer sleeves (10 mm)
- 4 screws (6 x 120 mm)
- 4 wall plugs (size 8)
- Paint (color of your choice)
- Cord
- Christmas decorations
Step 1: Cut the Shelf Section
Prepare the frame for your Advent calendar
- Use a jigsaw to cut the wooden shelf side section to size.
- Ensure the frame is even at both ends.
Step 2: Mark the Drill Holes
Plan where the frame will be mounted
- Use the Zamo tape adapter to measure 10 cm from each edge of the frame.
- Mark drill points along these measurements, centering them on the shelf.
Step 3: Drill the Holes
Create the mounting points for the frame
- Drill holes at the marked points with a cordless combi drill and Brad point bits.
- Countersink the holes to prevent splitting.
Step 4: Prepare Decoration Holes
Utilize pre-drilled holes for hanging ornaments
- Drill through the pre-drilled holes in the outer row of the shelf section.
- Sand the wood with 80-grain sandpaper to smooth edges and remove splinters.
