Materials
- Old mirror (approx. 40 cm diameter)

- Veneer strips (1,000 x 10 x 1 mm, two pieces)
- Black cotton webbing (30 mm wide, length depends on mirror size)
- Black cord (6-8 mm diameter)
- Two screw eyes (6-8 mm)
- Wood glue
- Mirror mounting tape
- Screw and wall plug (for hanging)
Step 1: Measure the Mirror
Ensure precise dimensions for your project
- Measure the mirror diameter using the Zamo and tape adapter.
- Cut an MDF panel 1 mm larger than the mirror for a perfect fit.
- Mark the drill hole positions for hanging.
Step 2: Measure the Circumference
Get the exact length for veneer and webbing
- Use the Zamo to measure the circumference by wrapping the tape around the mirror edge.
- Add extra length for overlapping veneer strips.
Step 3: Attach the Veneer Strips
Secure a stylish wooden finish
- Wrap the first veneer strip around the mirror and secure it with a cordless tacker.
- Overlap the second veneer strip and glue it using wood glue.
- Fix the glued ends with screw clamps and let it dry.
Step 4: Drill Holes and Attach Webbing
Prepare for hanging and cover imperfections
- Drill holes for screw eyes at the veneer overlap, 1 cm from the panel bottom.
- Measure and cut the webbing to the mirror's circumference.
- Glue the webbing over the veneer to hide staples and drilled holes.
Step 5: Attach Screw Eyes and Cord
Finalize the hanging mechanism
- Screw in the screw eyes through the webbing.
- Tie the black cord to the screw eyes securely.
