Tools and Materials Needed

What you’ll need to create the yarn wall decorations

Tools

  • Bosch Atino line level
  • Zamo tape measure and adapter
  • Needle
  • Hammer
  • Pencil

Materials

  • PappArt round frames (D = 30 x 8 x 1 cm)
  • Leftover yarn (approx. 500 g per ring)
  • Nails

Step 1: Knot and Wrap the Yarn

Start building your yarn ornament

  1. Knot the yarn tightly onto the PappArt round frame. Hide the knot at the back.
  2. Wrap the yarn around the frame tightly until you cover a 38 cm section.
  3. Use the Bosch Zamo tape measure to ensure accuracy.

Step 2: Create a Pattern

Add dimension with creative wrapping

  1. Wrap yarn alternately around the entire width of the frame and then along the edges.
  2. Create a band 9 cm wide, checking measurements with the Zamo tape adapter.
  3. Continue wrapping until the frame is completely covered.

Step 3: Weave in the Yarn Ends

Finish each frame neatly

  1. Thread the loose yarn onto a needle.
  2. Weave the end securely into the back of the frame.
  3. Repeat for all six frames.

Step 4: Mark the Wall

Prepare the perfect layout for hanging

  1. Use the Bosch Atino line level to align your wall decorations.
  2. Mark points at intervals of 32 cm horizontally and vertically.
  3. Create a grid of Xs for each ornament's position using the built-in tape measure of the Atino.
